Y. Cao and Lin receive research grant from ARDEC

Yanzhao Cao and Junshan Lin received a research grant from the U.S. Army Armament Research, Development and Engineering Center (ARDEC) on "Modeling, Imaging and Optimal Design in Nano-Optics.” The project aims to develop innovative numerical algorithms for modeling of optical waves in metallic nano-structures and their imaging, and the optimal design of random surface textures in thin-film solar cells.

This is a three-year grant jointly with Florida A&M University (the lead institution). The Auburn share is $224,997 for the total amount, with $74,999 as the first year installment.
